Benefits & Pension

Local 628 strives to provide its members with all the information they need relating to their benefits and pensions. It is important that all members understand the agreements and the benefits packages and also how to use this information correctly. By making this information available to all Union members, we are ensuring that the Union hall runs as efficiently as possible. We ask all members familiarize themselves with this information.

The UA has worked hard over the years to build a strong benefits plan for its members. UA Local 628 has a comprehensive package that gives its members and their families’ excellent access to dental, vision, and other health extended benefits. It all comes down to providing peace of mind for its members and their families.

For more information on our benefits provider, including the benefit plan booklet, and major medical, group legal or dental forms, please visit or call 1-800-265-2568.

Our members also enjoy a secure, stable and well-managed pension plan that is built to help provide for them during their retirements. Our plan is a defined benefit plan, which pays a fixed amount to our members throughout their retirements.
